My name is Nidal Moumani a current customer of Kenworth. I was advised that you are an individual who may address my concerns.
At this time I'd like to bring to your attention a predicament that I found myself in, during an ongoing interaction with Kenworth service. Challenge started when my 2023 Kenworth T680 which was purchased new, displayed a fault code which turned out to be injector issue. My repeated and frequent trips to Kenworth service for a same issue with injector #2, produced little to no results. Furthermore, my claim to you is suported with a major repair currently in process at Kenworth of Jacksonville, which was caused by injector #2 breaking off.
Attached is a pdf document which consists of a list of parts needed to be replaced this far.
I'd like to stress the fact of a hardship I found myself in, caused by this incident which I diligently attempted to prevent by responsibly reporting an issue immediately as it aroused multiple times. This far that hardship is in excess of $30k . Please understand that we are speaking of a fairly new vehicle under warranty, a truck that had absolutely no other issues and your records confirm and support that. Reason why I'm in need of your cooperation and understanding Mr.
Moore, is that I'd like all 6 cylinder liners replaced rather than only 1 in order for that motor to be in condition it was in prior to this situation. Based on my experience, once cylinder head is removed higher quality repair consists of all cylinder liners replaced. After exhausting options in coordination with Mr. Rex Stephens, general manager at Kenworth of Jacksonville, he has gone as far as he can, we found that reaching out to you is the last option.
Work is covered under warranty except for the remaining 5 cylinder liners. Taking to account that I tried preventing this, and yet I'm in great financial loss as a result of inadequate solution to a timely reported issue, I'm reaching out to you and seeking your intervention for Kenworth to extend courtesy and cover all 6 cylinder liners in order to prevent a situation I dealt with in the past, with MX13 motor, although with Peterbilt dealer. Identical issue, and due to all 6 liners not being replaced, upon rectification Peterbilt replaced an entire motor at zero cost to me. If you are interested in seeing documentation supporting that please let me know and I will provide it promptly.
In my opinion it is only fair that we reach an agreement where my vehicle is once again the vehicle it was prior to this unpleasant and very difficult situation.
Mr. Moore, I seek your assistance and I trust your adequate and proper judgment in resolving this matter, where this unfortunate situation becomes less painful.

Driver was in vehicle with VA License Plate UB64-538 driving the vehicle on 8/21/24 @ 12:45pm. There was a traffic pileup after the greenbrier exit heading towards the Elizabeth City exit.
This happens numerous times each day which is the main reason for my concern. The driver rode the bumper of my car for at approximately 2 miles in traffic leaving inches in between us and slamming on his brakes to stop every time. I put my hand out of the window and made eye contact with him and asked for him to not ride so closely. He proceeded to flick me off and continued to ride my bumper.
What he didnt know is that my fiance was in the passenger seat and she is 9 months pregnant.
She is actually the one who noticed and pointed out the driver so who knows how long he was driving like that before we noticed. Something needs to be done about this because it causes unnecessary anxiety for other drivers, the vehicle is way to big to be driving recklessly without any room for error, and obviously the driver is careless since he flicked me off once i kindly asked for him to back off a little.

They contact us yesterday. But treat your old customers like this is crap. We just want our trucks back that’s all. How much we missed accordingly them because of there 0 knowledge IT department.

We have issue with Paccer since last couple of months. They made 2 accounts for one vin number. For fake account they demand for payment. I clear with your worker Trey holt I have only two trucks how I have 3 accounts.
He told us in June sorry its their IT department fault. He will fix it. So then I said ok. I told him I make payment every month.
On July 9 when I try to make June payment with in 10 days grace period your employee name Coddie quiche told me my account is not set up yet. And then after June 12 I call again to coddie . He said account is not setup yet. And on 19 July they repo our truckswithout notify us.
I told Andrew we pay payment what we miss . But he did not listen. Its only truck for you. But its my bread and butter.
I have 4 kids and one autistic kid. I dont have voice recording when I talk on the phone but may be in your system you guys have . If we are wrong we keep quiet. But we dont.
Because I know I m not wrong. I really hope you do something.
Preferred solution: I want my both truck back. I also keep making payments. If their account issue they need to talk us. Their Texas department need to be more professional. How to talk a women.
Delays they tell you there program has expired then send you to another kenwarth dealer and make you wait..
Truck suffered a Accident for some other driver running red light. They said truck was finished in picked up the truck to find out i only had 1 and a quarter left turn took it right back kept it for few more days the workers don't focus on the truck at hand they take there time to do anything came back they changed the new steering box they put in. But this steering box was bad after they tell me it's done but to find out my stability control light was on waited all day from them to tell me they can't do anything because there programing expired the kenwarth in Dallas Texas is stressful poor service department sad!!!

My truck has an oil leak under the engine. They waited two days to call and tell me, 'They won't start work on my truck because the cab has a *** bottle in it.' It's irrelevant to the situation.
The truck is not leaking *** it's leaking oil. A mechanic has no business rummaging around in my cab searching for *** bottles. It's just a fact of trucking that drivers have to *** and *** The smell could be that, and/or the fact I'm a meat hauler and pick up loads frequently at slaughterhouses. The ground is saturated with blood, *** and *** from years of slaughtering cattle.
I've gotten used to it. A pencil-pushing bean counter, who's never worked a day in her life, may not understand the fragrance...of money. So tell Kenworth of Jackson, Ms.
to keep limp-wristed mechanics out of my cab and keep the donut-eating, Starbucks-swilling office people out of my business. And put that time into fixing the truck.

Verified Reviewer |My truck in the Tampa Kenworth for 18 days. They have to replace electrical parts like fuse box and harness.
My truck is only 3.5 years old, 18 days in the shop now. They are replacing electrical parts that are out of warranty.
My price is $8.500. What can happen with fuse box or harness for 3.5 years and 400k miles??? Why it is not under warranty? Why it cost $5.5k???
Why Kenworth install garbage parts to their truck? Very bad experience with the truck, don't buy it!!!

Kenworth district manager called me to tell me that he doesn’t know anything and he can’t do anything. What a shocking answer.He was agree that kenworth charging me mark up price for the transmission but he said he can’t take that off because his higher authorities or CEO put that mark up price and I asked him by don’t they tell us these things when we get extended warranty’s and his answer was same that he don’t know.
My truck got transmission problem and I have to take it Kenworth in bakersfield. Truck Vin # NJ131761 and kenworth told me that they have to replace the transmission and transmission is still under warranty.
However kenworth wants me to pay $1448 for transmission and I always have this problem with kenworth. My truck is been parked there for 3 weeks and they told me that I have to talk to Eaton or Kenworth that why they are not covering the full amount for transmission and I been talking to both of them but not getting helped by anyone.
After all I talked to the kenworth dealership again here in Bakersfield and the service manager told me that Eaton have paid for the price of transmission but kenworth is charging us mark up price for transmission.

People keep saying they will call us back but still having to chase them down.
For the first 12 months we had problems but nothing too major except for the inconvenience of the units being out of service for limited periods of time. However the second year all the problems came from DEF sensor issues to major electrical problems and that's when the company really started to show how poor their customer service was. On numerous occasions we were put off and told they would get back with us, if it wasn't for the professionalism of the salesperson who went far above and beyond we wouldn't have been as successful in getting the problems resolved. We have always had the units serviced by a national service chain on time with adequate records so it wasn't a case of neglect or abuse, all the units have less than a 100k on the odometer.
The latest issue is a complete repower on a unit with around 130k on the motor, it has been down a total of roughly 4 months out of 26 and everyone at the company just kept passing us around while monthly we still have to make the huge payment on the asset. Coming from a long family of truckers we were always told KW is the brand to have. After this experience and the amount of loss that our company has taken we will never purchase another KW or any other unit with a Paccar power plant, this experience has taught us not to do business with KW.
As a small minority owned business we cannot afford to take the huge losses that KW has left us with and will replace ALL the units with a more customer friendly product that has no problem standing behind their product with resolutions instead of excuses!! We have records documented to back up our accusations!!

Resolved: Complaint of Kenworth dealer
They are looking over my case and to help resolve the issue. They reached out today and will go over the case. Thank you for this portal, this was the only way I seen online to communicate.
Paccar warranty specialist called me and had a truthful conversation with me yesterday. I felt relieved that my complaint was heard and he was going to watch over work on my truck. I am still not satisfied with dealer but I have faith in Paccar corporate people.
I explain what I think and receiptionist thinks might be a problem with my truck. Fuel Injectors is what we assumed. I asked him if their is any warranties on them he tells me no. I call another Kenworth dealer who proceeds to tell me there is a warranty out CEO 30 that would cover all my fuel injectors.
My complaint is simple if I cannot trust a Kenworth dealer (Billings, MT) to tell me about a warranty, who can I trust?? He would bill me for the labor and then in turn turn in the warrantable work and get paid again??
The warranty came out in August of 2023 so have they not done no work on fuel injectors model MX 13 year 2021 in 3 months here? There seems to be a disconect telling consmers about a new warranty here.

Preferred solution: Bring my truck into the shop ever since I made them aware of the warranty issue they have brought every other truck into the shop except mine. While I have lost 2 days waiting already.

Hi, I'm the owner Dior Express LLC engine esn: 7997**** serial#: JJ184673 . I had front crank seal repair at kenworth of Jacksonville, FL and after driving nearly 300 miles it forced me to stop on decel , antifreeze leakage detected.
I towed the truck to WE Kenworth of Columbia SC the job is penetrating to assumed cylinder head gasket and service manager detected oil residue which correlates to previous unqualified neglected and poor job at kenworth of Jacksonville, FL.
Truck is at 479,000 miles and was maintained at MHC Kenworth of Charlotte, NC.
I request a complaint to escalate and official protocol form, Kenworth of Jacksonville, FL bears responsibility for that immediate with in 24 hour failure. And it's not uncertain coincidence.
It is cause and effect outcome. Facts and work job summaries are available to be provided.

Hi, I'm the owner operator of Dior Express LLC engine esn: 7997**** serial#: JJ184673 . About 40 days ago I had front crank seal repair at kenworth of Jacksonville, FL ($8,900 repair costs) and after driving nearly 300 miles it forced me to stop on decel , antifreeze leakage detected.
Next morning I towed the truck to World wide Equipment Kenworth of Columbia SC the job is penetrating deep into assumed cylinder head gasket ($12,500 assumed estimate if gasket) and service manager detected oil residue in the front structure and missing bolt which directly correlates to previous unqualified neglected and poor job at kenworth of Jacksonville, FL. Created pressure and turbulence of 5-6 hours of driving caused that emergency forced stop alert. Service Manager's professional firm statement that both do not correlate to each other. I don't believe to uncertain coincidence, but indeed on fact, cause and effect outcome.
Truck is 2018 t680 at 479,000 miles and was mostly maintained at MHC Kenworth of Charlotte, NC.
Less than a year ago in Charlotte rear main seal repair job had cost me clutch replacement July 2022 ($10,500 repair costs). Truck was purchased used at 396,000 from Joplin, MO MHC Kenworth.
Cummins warranty neglected to accept the claim since first 5 year coverage period had gone. Age came first.
I request a complaint to escalate and official protocol form, investigator, a third party who can advocate my rights, enter the job site where the truck is currently in and provide independent summary with full monetary reimbursement or mutual agreement of dealers themselves to each other, and returning the truck in drivable and guaranteed condition.
